Da-ti o palma!

Am secatuit, nimic in mine n-a mai ramas hidratat, m-am consumat si am rezumat:

Caut explicatii ca sa-mi gasesc drumul in ceata.

Intr-o vreme am incetat sa cred in Absolut. In cele din urma, rugaciunea e tot ce-a ramas omului caruia i-a ramas Nimic.

Stau si vorbesc cu mine. Analizez, pun in balanta. Isi face loc disperarea. Cand esti disperat, ai face orice. Dupa Dispearare urmeaza Depresia: atunci cand in loc sa faci orice te amesteci in cele cotidiene si actionezi ca un robot.

In cele din urma, imi caut fericirea.

Secretul nostru?

Vorbim aceeaşi muzică! Cuvintele sunt de prisos, câteodată...

Viata nu e in alb si negru. E in tonuri de gri.

Bridge over troubled waters

Sunday morning, 9 o’clock. The villagers are rushing towards the church. After a while, inside the church, the ceremony begins. Sarah Jones is sitting by her family somewhere in a corner. She likes being there, close to God. She wants to be even closer so she steps forward. Accidentally she bumps into a young man.

“I am terribly sorry, I didn’t want to disturb you” whispered Sarah.

“Oh, nonsense! Why don’t you stand here in front of me, so you can see better!

“That is very kind of you! Thank you! I hope you don’t mind!” answered Sarah ashamed or the situation.

“Not at all!”

She was glad she managed to be closer to the priest, but since she had seen HIS dark brown eyes, only one question was in her mind: “Who was that young man she had never seen before?” Long had she to wait until the answer came.

The Jones were sitting at the dining room table. Silence has set foot on each mouth. All you could hear were their dishes hitting the plates. Suddenly, Mrs. Jones’s voice could be heard from the other side of the table:

“Sarah, who was that young man you were talking to at church?”

“No one, just a boy…he let me sit in front of him to see the priest…”

“No one you say? I hope so! I sure don’t want you to be seeing boys, it is too early! I hope you are aware of that! No boys, yet!”

“Yes, mum, I am aware!”

“You are a good girl, Sarah; I don’t want any boy to ruin what I’ve tried to build all these years! Do you understand? I sure hope you do, or else…!”

Sunday morning. The sun is shining through Sarah’s curtain and wakes her up. Anxiously she puts on her best dress. She knows that today is the day when she will probably see the young man again. She rushes down the stairs for breakfast, but sees no one. She climbs back and sees her father sitting by her mother’s bed.

“What’s wrong? Is mother ill?”
“She isn’t well at all. Her temperature is high, she is shivery; she told me more than once that she is feeling dizzy. This cannot be a simple cold. I’ll go get the doctor. Please watch out for her until I come back.”

“Yes, father, I will!”

She wasn’t used to seeing her mother in bed. Sarah has always looked up to her and saw her as a strong woman. Seeing her invalid made her feel pity for Mrs. Jones. Although her mother was helplessly lieing in bed, Sarah’s thoughts were flying straight to the boy she saw last week in church. She was selfishly thinking that she will be unable to see him because she had to stand by her mother. Soon, her father came back home bringing Dr. Phil along with him. Sarah welcomed him, wished him the best and after that she turned around and spoke to her father:

“Father, I’m going to church to pray for mother. I shall pray for you, too!”

“Yes, Sarah, please do that. We need God in our lives now more than ever.”

As she was stepping out of the house, guilt arose in her mind as she remembered what her mother told her at lunch last Sunday. She overcame the guilt thinking that there was no way her parents could find out about her plan. Although she had reputation of being a good, settled young girl, she was not dumb at all. She took advantage of the fact that her family wasn’t there, knowing that she might have a chance with that boy.

When she opened the church’s door she made a noise that loud that everybody inside turned their head around to see who was the one disturbing the ceremony. As soon as they found out they turned back around; all but one. A young man was staring straight at her as she was making herself way in the crowd. Sarah did not see him. This time she was pleased with a place somewhere in the back. She thought that this way she will see the boy when he leaves the church.

She waited there patiently. As the crowd was passing through the church doors, Sarah was getting more disappointed. She didn’t manage to see HIM. She turned around and headed for the altar. She bended her knees and put together her hands. Sarah was praying for her ill mother. She was as close as she could get to God, therefore she could not think of the young man for a while. She swept him away from her thoughts, but she could not sweep him away from the church. She got up and there he was, looking straight at her. Ashamed, she bowed her head and tried to leave the church, but he was right behind of her.

“Young lady! Young lady! Please, wait! Young lady, you dropped your handkerchief!”

And then she stopped and turned around. She was shivering, but didn’t want to let HIM see that. She wanted to grab the handkerchief from his hand, but instead he asked her for her name.

“My name is Richard. Richard Williamson. What is yours?”

“Sarah Jones.”, she said and all that she could do was smile and reach for the handkerchief.

“You have a beautiful smile, Sarah! Let me walk you home.”

“I’m sorry, Richard, but I know nothing about you!”

“Yes you do, Sarah! I’m sure you remember me since last Sunday! But to please you I’m telling you that I am a 19-year-old law student visiting his parents during the summer break. What about you?”

“Well, I am a 17-year-old girl living with her parents, but with great ambitions for the future: I want to leave to town to continue my studies because I want to become a teacher. I don’t know what I am going to teach, yet, but hopefully one day I will decide.”

“Can I take you somewhere? It’s been my favourite place since I was a child.”

Sarah agreed to go with Richard to Riverwood Bridge. They spent a lot of time there getting to know each other better. They were both romantic persons, therefore not long was until they declared each other true love. One evening, as they were tracking stars under the clear blue sky from nearby the Riverwood Bridge, Richard said:

“Sarah, do you know what love is?”

“Will you help me find out?”

“Love is space and time measured with the heart! Because I love you, I shall be your bridge over troubled waters, anytime, anywhere!

And they sealed their love with a kiss. Forever.

The Min-Pins

"Have you heard of snow-white and the seven dwarfs? I’m sure you have! It’s not just a bedtime story. Such small, tiny people exist. And this is what my story is about: the dwarfs from Treetown.

Treetown is a small town in a tree. It’s a happy place were everyone is friends with everyone. This is where the Min Pins live. The Min Pins are a dwarf family. George and Maya Min Pin have four children Jack, Jill, Marie and Stuey.
Stuey is the youngest and the friendliest of all four kids. His best friend is Hippie, a blackbird. Since they met they were never apart. Do you wonder how Stuey and Hippie met? Stuey has always been fascinated about how beautiful a blackbird can sing. He used to stay all day and listen to the sound that he enjoyed so much. He didn’t want to disturb one of the birds while it was singing, but at the same time he wanted to know why birds can sing and people can’t. So, he got closer to a baby blackbird and asked it:’Can you teach me how to sing?’and the bird said:’Let’s do it how my father taught me: take a deep breath, raise your chin, and sing from the heart.’ Stuey did exactly as he was told but he still couldn’t sing. The bird said:’I think dwarfs aren’t made for singing.I’m Hippie.Who are you?’.’I’m Stuey Min Pin. I guess you are right.’ Since that day Stuey started seeing Hippie every day. They were best friends and only Maya and her cooking could ever tear them apart. Cookies were her special. No one has ever eaten better cookies than her chocolate chip cookies. When Hippie tasted the first time her cookies he didn’t like them, but he soon got used to them, and now he loves them.

As best friends they wanted to make a pact and a symbol of their friendship. They wanted to help and be helped in return. So they said that whatever happens to them, the other one will come and rescue and help him. They clapped three times, shake their ‘tails’ twice and turn around once. They did this every time they met.
But because they’ve spent too much time together, Maya said that he should spend more time with her brothers and sisters. Stuey didn’t want to hear such a thing so he ran outside to tell Hippie. Hippie said that his mother told him that same thing. They thought it over and over again. They thought running away was a solution, and that’s what they did. They packed what was necessary and run away that same night.
Next morning Maya went to wake up Stuey, but he wasn’t there. She searched the whole house, she even asked a few kids outside, but he was no were to be found. Hippie was missing too, so she figured that they left together. Maya told this to George, and he said that they should look after them on the bee branch, where all the bees were, a very dangerous place.

Patrols were sent to look for them and in the end they found them. Both Maya and Hippie’s mother grounded them two weeks. Beautiful days are over. Let’s hope that this won’t end their true friendship."

March 2005. A time when i started dreaming of true friendship. Now there is no need to dream. Now I am living my dream.
